Ohio has one of the most comprehensive support systems in the nation. An important component is the statewide voluntary exclusion program (VEP) and other resources available through Time Out Ohio.

This session is for anyone new to treating Gambling Disorder or for anyone interested in hearing cases of clinical treatment. The session will provide education on a problem gambling-related topic that matches the case to be discussed. A certified gambling counselor, and graduate of the Ohio Gambling Treatment Fellowship Program, will present a case and discuss screening tools, assessment and treatment strategies, similarities and differences between gambling and substance addictions and walk the audience through what a clinical encounter looks like. The session will conclude with an engaging discussion.
1.50 CEUs are available for this webinar. The Ethics for Ohio’s Treatment Professionals session will provide those licensed through the Ohio Chemical Dependency Chemical Professionals Board and the Social Work, Counselor, and Marriage & Family Therapist Board with 3.0 CEUs in ethics. This session will run from 9:00 AM – 12:15 PM.
