Rise and Thrive – Better Together: Leveraging Campus-Community Partnerships to Address Alcohol Harms
Alcohol is the most commonly misused substance among college students and its related harms can negatively impact both the campus and community. Because of this, it requires town-gown collaboration and a comprehensive prevention approach to prevent alcohol harms. This panel will explore environmental prevention strategies for addressing alcohol misuse and highlight three collaborative efforts to reduce alcohol harms within their campus and community.
The Ohio College Initiative will host a series of webinars through September of 2022, in collaboration with the Rise and Thrive Campus-Community Partnerships. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with state and national experts through a series of webinars that promote campuses and communities working together. Throughout the series, you will learn how to build connections between students, staff and community providers that result in improved access to supportive higher education environments and services.
The webinar will be at no cost to participants and continuing education (CE) hours will be offered.
