SPCA Presents: Veterans as a Coalition Sector

November 8, 2021 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Join the Statewide Prevention Coalition Association (SPCA) as we explore how coalitions can connect with and better serve veterans in their communities. The event will include updates from Prevention Action Alliance, the Ohio National Guard, and OhioMHAS on the importance of connecting with veterans, representatives from the U.S. Department of Veteran’s Affairs will address the work they’re doing with local coalitions to prevent veteran suicide, and several coalitions already engaged in this work will be present to answer questions. We’ll also be joined by Ohio State Representative Tracy Richardson (R-Marysville,) a service member herself, to hear about the work she’s involved in including her membership in a local coalition.

Prevention CEU’s will be applied for.

The webinar will run from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
