Recovery Rights Advocacy Day

Tuesday, Sept. 24th

The Ohio Statehouse

1 Capital Square, Columbus OH 43215

The Ohio Citizen Advocates for Addiction Recovery invites those impacted by substance use disorder and/or mental health issues to attend the inaugural Recovery Rights Advocacy Day. Since problem gambling is closely tied to both mental health and substance abuse – it’s an event whose purpose is in line with the mission of Before You Bet.

Speakers will include recovery advocates and those impacted by addiction. Attendees will learn about priorities and potential policy solutions to help combat the addiction epidemic facing Ohio. Key talking points for the event are being finalized at the Recovery Rights Summit.

The agenda includes:

10:00 – 11:30 – Brunch

11:30 – 1:00 – Speakers

1:00 – 3:00 – Legislative Visits

The cost for attendees is $25. And space is limited.
